Hi there!
I’m a PNW native. I grew up in the Puyallup/Tacoma area and went to Puyallup High School. A true GEN-X girl with a love for 80’s hair band music, dancing and living life to the fullest. I love the outdoors and find myself in the woods staying in my RV when the weather is right and commuting on my motorcycle whenever I can.
I have a Great Dane who is my ride or die, so the hair you see on my clothes may not be human!

My name is Kimberly Evans, but I was tagged “mickey” in hair school because of my love for all things Disney, and it just stuck!

I found my calling for the Beauty Industry in 2011 when I attended the GARY MANUEL AVEDA INSTITUTE. I graduated top of my class and excelled in competition hair events being nominated for the BEACON HAIR AWARDS.
While still a student, I found myself working with celebrity stylists and doing runway hair work for clothing designers in Seattle.

I then opened my own 5-Star Luxury Salon, Rebel’tude Salon & Spa, in Gig Harbor in 2015. I designed Rebel'tude with the idea that you should be able to come to a luxury salon and get spoiled, but still have great energy, rockin' music and no holds barred conversations! There I specialized in Color Correction and Hair Extensions along with educating and mentoring new stylists.

After a bout with Breast Cancer and the pandemic shut downs, I took a mid-life sabbatical. Closing my salon, I hit the road in my RV and traveled the west coast for a bit. I'm now back in Gig Harbor and back to creating beautiful hair and new friends! I'm currently renting a chair at Marina Bay Salon in downtown Gig Harbor to provide services, but plan to open my own salon again in the near future!

I believe that you never know it all and continue to hone my skills and techniques through regular advanced hair education, attending national hair shows and networking with other amazing Beauty Professionals.

I specialize in creating bold, unique looks that turn heads and spark joy! Whether you're dreaming of vibrant fashion colors, stunning mermaid hair, luscious extensions, or something completely outside the norm, I love bringing imaginative visions to life. I also have mad curly hair sills!

My love for constantly growing and learning new techniques and skills gives my hair clients the confidence that they will not only have a great time in my chair, but they will be receiving the most up to date techniques and products available in the industry.
